SSACAB will train 90 MSc students. Each MSc student enrolled shall be assigned 2 supervisors: an academic institution-based and research-institution-based supervisor and attached to a research institution for 6 months. From a pool of research topics proposed by partner institutions or research entities, each student will be allocated a topic and relevant supervisors at the beginning of the academic year.
The student, with the guidance of the supervisory team, shall embark on protocol development and submit a draft of their protocol during a compulsory protocol development module. The student shall submit the protocol for assessment and ethics review within nine months of registration. The student’s supervisory team shall provide regular feedback to ensure quality and timely completion of the task; and shall ensure that the MSc research project is completed within the stipulated 6 months.
